Under 15 Final – The Mohill Under 15 lads were hit with two goals in the first few minutes of this keenly contested final in Carrick on Sunday last. This sucker-punch had the boys playing catch- up for most of the game and the Allen Gaels side playing great football. But with ten minutes to go our boys threw off the shackles and scored 1-4 without reply to earn themselves a draw. They all gave their time to the young children doing an obstacle course, racing around the park and playing football. It was a wonderful occasion and everyone enjoyed the experience. There was also a sad note at the opening, as the Under 10s bade a sad farewell to young Joel Wuabah and his family as they head to Ennis. The family was well integrated into the town with Caleb playing Under 17 football and basketball, Joel playing Gaelic and Prince involved in soccer with Steve Macklin. We wish the family Good Luck wherever they go.
