Leitrim Abú – well done to the Leitrim team and management on another victory this time in the difficult venue of Aughrim. Ryan produced another fine performance scoring three points and that all important goal. This Sunday sees Antrim visit Avantcard Pairc Sean MacDiarmada so let’s get behind the Leitrim team and help their push for promotion.

Leitrim GAA Awards Night – congratulations to Leitrim Intermediate Player of the Year Ryan O’Rourke, Leitrim Senior Handballer of the Year Jarlath Scollan and Leitrim Senior Referee of the Year Pat Guckian who picked up their awards for their achievements in 2018 on Friday night last.

Allianz National Football League – well done to the Leitrim team on their emphatic victory over Wexford on Sunday last. Everyone in the club and parish was immensely proud to see the performance of Ryan O’Rourke. Best of luck to the team and management for next weekend’s trip to take on Wicklow in Aughrim.

Leitrim GAA Awards Night – on Friday night next Fenagh St Caillins will be well represented with Ryan O’Rourke receiving the Intermediate Player of the Year Award, Pat Guckian will be presented with the Senior Referee Award and Jarlath Scollan picking up Leitrim Handballer of the Year. Sincere Thanks – Fenagh St Caillins GAA Club wishes to express our sincerest thanks to our successful 2018 senior management team of Declan Maguire, Niall Flynn, Frank Smith and Killian McLoughlin. Declan returned to the club at the start of the year and brought with him the determination, knowledge, and know-how which he instilled into a young team and led them to a rare Leitrim Championship title which this club has strived towards for over 40 years since its last one. Declan was ably assisted by Niall Flynn who is the definition of a great clubman who has given unselfishly of his time and expertise constantly for several years now and achieved his just rewards with this seasons victory. Thanks also to Frank and Killian who were always on hand to fine tune the squad with the wealth of experience they have both gained over successful careers with club and county. We wish Declan and his family all the best in their future endeavours and know that Niall, Frank and Killian will be on hand to assist this club to build stronger in the years to come.

St Caillin’s NS Christmas Carols – this annual event takes place on Thursday evening in St Mary’s Church, Foxfield at 7pm. The occasion will also mark the retirement of Mr Joe Reynolds as the Principal of our school. We would like to sincerely thank Joe for his great contribution to this football club by nurturing scores of present and future Fenagh St Caillin’s footballers as they passed through the school. He has also been involved in the management of our senior team during his term in Fenagh and for this we are very grateful. Everyone is invited to attend on Thursday.

Pyramid Bookmakers Junior B Championship Final – Saturday last saw the final game of the season with our Junior B team taking on Aughawillan in the championship final. Despite a brave comeback towards the end of the game our lads had left too much to do following a poor first half performance and so it was Aughawillan who claimed the double adding this title to their Senior championship victory of last month. Final score Fenagh St Caillins 4.10, Aughawillan 2.18. Congratulations to Aughawillan on their years work.

Leitrim Sports Partnership Awards – the Fenagh St Caillins Intermediate Championship winning team have been nominated in the Team of the Year Category in this years awards. 2018 Pyramid Bookmakers Junior B Championship Final – on Saturday next we travel the short distance to Ballinamore to take on Aughawillan in the Junior B C’ship final. It’s the final mens game of the year so please come along to support the players and help them to finish the year on a winning note. Throw in is at 2pm.

LH Heating Leitrim u20 Championship – on Sunday morning last we took on St Manachans in the quarter final. Despite a fighting performance form those who played it wasn’t our day. Final score Fenagh St Caillins 2.13, St Manachans 4.20.
Good Luck – to the Fenagh Ladies u16 team who play St Joseph’s this Sunday 18th November in the u16 championship final. The match kicks off at 2pm in Kiltubrid.
