Chuirtí bláthanna buí mar aiteann (furze) agus samharcíní (primroses) lasmuigh den teach chun é a chosaint. Lá le Pádraig – Is ainm Naomh Pádraig atá ar ár gClub peile. De réir an traidisiún áitiúil bhunaigh Naomh Pádraig séipéal i nDroim Dhá Thiar. Deirtear freisin gurb é a chéad rogha mar lár-ionad na Críostaíochta in Éirinn é ach gur athraigh sé go hArd Mhacha. Tá baint ag an ainm Droim Liasa (Drumlease) le botháin a d’fhág sé san áit dá lucht leanúna.
Tá an t-ainm Carraig Phádraig St Patrick’s Rock luaite leis an gceantar chun a thaispeaint arís go bhfuil sean-nasc ag Naomh Pádraig leis an áit.
De ghnáth glactar go dtiteann Lá le Pádraig i lár an Earraigh. Bíonn na feirmeoirí ag súil le aimsir níos fearr. Fadó cheap daoine muna raibh na prátaí curtha agat roimh an la seo go raibh tú an-leisciúil! Bain taitneamh as an lá!

Titeann Lá Fhéile Bríde ar an gcéad lá de mhí Feabhra gach bliain agus cuirtear tús leis an earrach ar an dáta céanna. Tá go leor nósanna in Éirinn a bhaineann le Lá Fhéile Bríde, ach is dócha gurb é an traidisiún a bhaineann le cros Naomh Bríd a dhéanamh an nós is cáiliúla a mhaireann fós sa tír. Tá leaganacha difriúla den chros ar fáil ar fud na tíre. Tá an t-ádh linn i gCo. Liatroma go bhfuil luachra (rushes) againn.
