Approx. 80 photos of the Ladies Junior Semi were added to the Photo Library over the last few days. The link to the Photograph section is available on the left hand menu under the Interactive section link.

Its worth checking this link on a weekly basis as our photographer James Molloy is very busy clicking away and recording the action at many of the county and Club games. We will of course have photos of the Tommy Murphy Cup in Croker available as soon as possible after the game.

Quality prints are also available directly from James, the email address is james.molloy@leitrim.gaa.ie

You will find also some interesting photos taken recently in the run up to the final in Croker !
(Dustin actually came to Leitrim in search of a ticket !)

Leitrim County Board received our allocation of tickets this morning and we are making every effort to distribute tickets to clubs in as fair a manner as possible. Tickets are classified as either Adult (?40) or Juvenile (?5). Adult tickets are available for most areas of the stadium while juvenile tickets are only valid for allocated family areas.

A number of Adult ?40 tickets will be distributed tonight (Thursday) to Club representatives.

It should be noted that we have been allocated a generous proportion of tickets in the Family ticket areas (A family ticket is a combination of Adult & Juvenile tickets). In order to try and facilitate families we are asking the supporters to contact your local club secretary and order your combination of Adult and Juvenile tickets by 6pm on Sunday evening. Juvenile tickets are for Under 16s only and cost ?5 each.

Where possible we will be keeping families together by allocating the tickets based on available seating arrangements.

This will take considerable time to implement but we hope to be in a position to allocate the batches of family tickets early next week as per the orders received.

Families who wish to purchase tickets for juveniles this weekend may do so but you will be charged full value for all the tickets (?40).

At all times tickets can only be sourced from your club secretary and he or she will advise you of availability.

So watch out for both services which will commence on this websote at about 4pm tomorrow afternoon.

Meanwhile Louth have guaranteed their slot in the Tommy Murphy final in Croke Park on Aug 27th with a comprehensive 14 point win over Antrim – Louth 0-22 Antrim 0-8 earlier today at 2pm.

Congratulations are in order to two Leitrim Men in Black who are making a presence at a provincial and national level.

Last Sunday Ray McBrien (Aughavas) refereed the Connacht Junior Final between Roscommon and Mayo in Ballyhaunis. Roscommon ran out eventual winners.

Frank Flynn (Aughawillan) was recently named as ?Best Developing Referee? by the National Referees? Committee. He was presented with this award by former GAA President Sean Kelly at a function in Croke Park.

Franks next assignment is a big one as he will take charge of the Tyrone V Louth All-Ireland Qualifier on Saturday at 3:30pm in Pairc Tailteann. This game will be live on RTE.

The Senior team may not have crossed the white line onto the field of play but at least two men are getting a chance to do their bit for the county. Well done to both Ray and Frank.
