Dunnes Bar Division 2 – the lads were out against Ballinaglera last Saturday in Drumkeerin. A big game, it always draws a crowd. At half time the score was Drumkeerin 1-07 to Ballinaglera 0-06. Under some pressure, Ballinaglera kept the game close for a long period of the second half but out lads rallied towards the end to win by 6 with a full-time score of Drumkeerin 1-15 to Ballinaglera 1-09. Next up we have Cloone, the game is at home on Sunday at 2pm. We’ve had great support as always, make sure to come and support our lads. Best of luck to all the lads and management.

Underage – our U15s were out on Monday, they played Annaduff in Drumkeerin in a shoot out of a game finishing 7-10 to 6-13. They’ll be out again on Thursday for their final league game of the year which is against Leitrim Gaels. Throw in at 7pm, come out and suppose them. Best of luck to players and management.

Allianz Cumann na mBunscol – Congratulations to Drumkeerin NS who were victorious over Aughavas NS in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Liatroma Boys Division 3 League Final in Fenagh, on Saturday morning. Also, hard luck to Drumkeerin NS and congratulations to Bornacoola NS who won the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Liatroma Girls Division 3 Shield Final. Well done on reaching the final. It will be great to watch these young stars grow up in the maroon and white.

Dunnes Bar Division 2 League – Our next game is scheduled to be against a strong Drumreilly outfit on the weekend of the 11th of May. The game will be an away game and support will be needed on the day. Best of luck to them on their next outing, Drumkeerin abù.
Swan Bar Division 3 League – our juniors hosted Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher last weekend. Final score Drumkeerin 3-7 (16) to Glenfarne/Kilty 1-4 (7). Scoring all three goals in the first half really set the lads up well, well done to players and management. The juniors don’t have a match for May while the first team will be out three weekends in a row.

Lotto Sellers: Group to sell Lotto for May is the Senior Ladies. Lotto to be sold next Saturday the 4th and Saturday the 18th May.
Registration – Membership needs to be paid to, the club registrar, Gabriel Flynn ASAP. Tom Guckian RIP – Drumkeerin GAA would like to offer our condolences to the family and friends of Tom Guckian and also to St. Mary’s Kiltoghert GAA Club. A well respected man in the Leitrim GAA community, he will be sorely missed.

Christmas Charity Match – Well done to all involved at the Drumkeerin GAA charity match on St Stephens Day. A great turn out by all players and supporters. A massive €1200 was raised for STOP suicide by all involved, thank you and well done

Club AGM – the AGM took place last Saturday, 8th December, in the local community centre. It was a good reflection of the club to see a strong attendance out for it and representation from the teams. Senior Team Management – we would like to congratulate and wish the best of luck to Francis Davitt, the new Drumkeerin Men’s manager. He was appointed last weekend, there was competition for the position which is brilliant to see within the club. We wish Francis the best of luck in his role for the upcoming year.

Girls U16 Final – our girls played their U16 final last Sunday afternoon in Glencar against local rivals Dromahair. A hard fought game that our girls came out on top in. Well done to all the players and management, you did the club proud on our final outing of the year. Drumkeerin abu
