Ladies Senior Management – If there is anyone interested in a role in managing our Senior Ladies team please put your name forward to a club executive.
Drama group – Well done to Drumkeeran drama group with their play ‘A Week in the West’. A really great weekends entertainment.
National Club National Draw – Tickets are available from any club executive. There are great prizes available including a new car.

Coaching course – Last call for the foundation coaching course. This is a minimum requirement for all coaches on all teams. Closing date is Wednesday, January 24th at 5pm. Contact Francis Davitt for more information.
Coaching Workshop – A  coaching workshop is taking place Thursday the 25th in Annaduff at the Leitrim GAA Centre of Excellence. Facilitated by Paddy Christie, former Dublin captain, it targets coaches involved in all levels of the game to help them adapt their coaching to suit the age of the appropriate teams. Intermediate: Well done to the team who had a hard battle with Cloone on Saturday last in Bornacoola. Winning on a scoreline of 11 points to 10. We now play the winners of Fenagh/Leitrim Gaels in the semi final on the weekend of 23 September.

U16: well done to the girls who bet Annaduff in the u16 championship on Sunday morning last.

Best wishes: speedy recovery to club player Adam McTernan who sustained an injury in the u15 game last Tuesday. We hope to see you back in the maroon and white soon.

Intermediate: hard luck to the lads who lost to Ballinaglera in the final group game on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-09. However we had already qualified for the 1/4 final before the game where we now play Cloone at 5pm Saturday in Leitrim Geals. Best of luck lads

Ladies: hard luck to the ladies team who lost to a strong Mohil team in the championship semi final.

Minor: well done to our minor girls who bet Mohil in the championship. They now play Dromahair in the final. Fixture tbc

U13: lost to Kiltubrid in the last game of the championship. This is a very young team with the majority of the team eligible for the next couple of years.

Lotto: took place last weekend numbers drawn were 3,10,24,25 there was no jackpot winner the five €20 winners were Frankie Renoylds, Micheal Gallagher, Brain Dolan, Gerry McTeigh, Micheal Coyle New York. Jackpot now stands at €2550.

Ladies: hard luck to the ladies who lost the semi final too Mohil on Sunday last. This is a very young team and no doubt they will be contesting lost more championship semi finals and Finals in the years ahead. Best of luck to Mohil in the final.
U13: hard luck to the boys who lost to Kiltubrid on Monday last in the pitch.
U17: lost to St.Francis on Thursday last. They still have the chance to make the championship final so keep the hard work up.
Minor: well done to the minor team who had a good win against Mohil on Wednesday. They play Dromahair in a re-fixed game next.
Festival: well done to the community family festival for providing us with a great week of entertainment. Roll on next year!!

Junior: hard luck to the junior team who lost to Kiltubrid on Sunday last 2-11 to 6 points. However a few of our club stalwarts made a return to championship football. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is concede games when numbers are low but this club has a proud tradition of trying to play every game. Well done to everyone that played on Sunday.

Intermediate: we play Eslin in Drumshambo at 7pm on Saturday evening hoping to see everyone there to support.

Intermediate: the lads got there first championship win of 2017 beating Aughvas on Sunday last in Carrick they now play Eslin on the weekend of the 25th of August.

Junior: the juniors lost to a very strong Melvin Geals team on Sunday last. They now play Kiltubrid this Sunday in the last game of the group in Drumshanbo at 12.30pm

Camp: a huge well done to everyone involved in the Drumkeerin GAA camp that was held last week especially Emer and David Moran for organising it. Thanks to the coaches on each day as well for there help. Thanks to County Star Shane Moran for attending on Friday. Everyone really enjoyed the week and are already looking forward to next year.
