Dunnes Bar Division 1 – Our first league game of 2018 was the proverbial game of two halves. Despite a great first half from the lads, Fenagh finished stronger to ensure a share of the spoils. Final score 3-9 to 1-15.

Speedy Recovery – We would like to wish club player Gary Bohan a speedy recovery, after an unfortunate knock at a challenge game on Wednesday last.

Barna Recycling U13’s – The under 13’s played Allen Gaels in Annaduff on Thursday evening. The first half went well for Annaduff with Nathan getting two goals, Darren got two and Caolan a point. The second half started well for Allen Gaels getting two early goals. Some good passing from our kick out got the ball to Darren on the wing who kicked a great pass into Senan who caught it on the run and popped it over for a point. Senan then won the kick out and lobbed the keeper for a goal. Momentum was with Annaduff Patrick caught the ball in midfield carried it forward before kicking a great long range point and Darren added another goal. Senan got the last point after some great interplay with Eoghan. Liam had another excellent match in goal making four first-half saves and coming out of goal early to clear dangerous balls. He was assisted by some great defending. Declan, Eamon and Jack were unlucky not to score goals with good saves and goal lines clearances by the Gaels. Full-time Annaduff 4.06-Allen Gaels 2.02.

Dunnes Bar Division 2 – Our D2 lads got their league off to the perfect start for the first round of the year on Sunday last away to Glencar-Manor. In the first half despite having 6 wides the Annaduff ladsoutscoredd Manor 0-11 to 1-05. The second half got going with Sean Mc with 2 points followed up by a goal from Hugh sending the message home to the home side that we travelled to north Leitrim for the win. Annaduff kept up the intensity in the second half with having about 80% possession, Manor only managed 2 points in this half, Finishing out Annaduff 2-18 to Glencar-Manor 1-07.
Team; Daragh Burke, Dean Gill, Hugh Moylan, Chris Farrell, Mattie Cox, Dillon Keane, Dermot Reynolds,
David Duignan, Ronan McCormack, Eoin Gill, Sean McNabola, Kenny Cox, Seamus Mulvihill, Conor Reynolds and Sean Duignan.
Subs; Mark Beirne for Dean (39min) Gavin O Brien for Dermot (43min) Sean Quigley for Sean D (45min) Ray Cox for Seamus (48min) Michael Cox for Sean Mc (57min).

Swan Bar Division 3 – Our D3 team made the trip to Manorhamilton on bank holiday Monday last. Under terrible conditions of wind, rain and sleet. The Glencar-Manor men seem to get off to the better start getting a goal in the 4th minute, Sean D followed with a free to point and got Annaduff on the scoresheet. The Annaduff lads from the 10 min mark did really take control of the game with 2 points from Owen R, one from Jason, Sean D and Michael. A high ball lobbed in by Johnny O C with Michael and Jason under it on the goal it found its way past the keeper to leave a Halftime score of Annaduff 1-06 to Glencar-Manor 1-1. Eoin Gill got Annaduffs scoreboard going in the second half with a point in the 9th min, followed by another from Sean Q, Manor did close the gap with a goal in the 15th min, but our lads kept plugging away with a point from a free by Sean Q and from play with Eoin G. When the game looked over Manor managed another goal in the 27min to leave only 2 between the sides, But some super defending from the Annaduff lads kept us with that advantage until the final whistle.
Full-Time score: Annaduff 1-10 Glencar-Manor 3-02.
Team: Shane Cox, Chris Farrell, James Cox, Eoghan Moylan, Stephan Murray, Mathew Reynolds, Owen Reynolds, Eoin Gill, Sean Duignan, Adam O Hagan, Jason Lyons, Michael Cox, Sean Quigley, and Johnny O Connor. Barna Recycling U13’s – Annaduff under 13’d played Drumkeeran away on Easter Monday evening in their last game of the group stage of the league. They started very well scoring two points through Darren and Senan (both frees) and a goal by Nathan. Drumkeeran started to come more into the match scoring points of their own before Nathan scored another goal and then a point. Drumkeeran Scored three pointed frees to end the first half Annaduff 2.03 to Drumkeeran 0.05.
Annaduff dominated the first 15 minutes. Scoring goals through Nathan and points through Darren two from play and free and Senan from play. Drumkeeran again started to get a more control of the ball and it was in this period that the team worked really hard all over the field contesting every ball. Eamon, Caolan Patrick, Oisin Molloy and Hannon pressurised the backs, Mel had a great battle in midfield. Eoghan, Kyle, Josh and Oran worked really hard in defence making some great tackles and interceptions. Liam came off his line a number of times to clear up balls kicked over the top of the backs. At the end of the match, Darren and Senan added a pointed free each. In fairness to Drumkeeran, the final score does not reflect the work that they put in. They were unlucky to meet Annaduff when they put in their best team performance so far this year. Final score Annaduff 4.10-0.05 Drumkeeran.
Team – Liam McNamee, Eoghan Ridge, Kyle Russell, Oran Beirne, Mel Fitzpatrick, Josh Gill, Patrick Beirne, Darren Cox (0-6) Oisin Hannon, Caolan Newton, Senan Mooney (0-3) Eamonn Healy, Oisin Molloy and Nathan Cox (4-1)
